Self-Awareness

Students are able to recognize their thoughts, feelings and emotions along with identifying their strengths and unique characteristics as children of God.

James 1:5-But if any of you needs wisdom, you should ask God for it. God is generous. He enjoys giving to all people, so God will give you wisdom. 

Social Awareness

Students understand and demonstrate empathy toward others and learn what behaviors please God.

John 4:19-We love because he first loved us. 

Self-Management

Students learn how to manage and lift their emotions up to God through prayer. Leaning into God can reduce stress, anxiety and depression.

Philippians 4:6- Do not worry about anything. But pray and ask God for everything you need. And when you pray, always give thanks. And God’s peace will keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. 

Relationship Skills

Students learn how to communicate effectively and demonstrate the qualities of a good friend and leader all while developing relationships through God’s word.

Responsible Decision Making

Students identify a social problem and use critical thinking skills while demonstrating an understanding of Biblical principles.  We encourage them to make Godly choices throughout life. 

Proverbs 3:5-6-Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.
